This weblog is dedicated to serve our heroes in the faith. These are the unknown, unseen and under appreciated soldiers of the cross. They have decided to follow Jesus regardless of the cost, for His love is more than enough. They are our heroes and the joy of our lives.
Our job is to help. To help others find and follow Jesus. To help them grow and mature. To help then see, enter and inherit the kingdom.
This site is focused upon providing tools for those along their journey in Jesus. These tools (or gifts) are not the normal 7 steps to whatever… They are the helps towards following Jesus, dying to self, living for Him alone and serving others through His love for us. It is about Him and living in and through His awesome love for us.
Both Doug and Johan serves various communities of followers of Jesus. They work normal jobs, raise kids and love their wives. Ordinary folks who have met an extraordinary God.

Doug and Johan, you have our thanks for moving with the times. The Roman Roads were God’s opportunity (His provision?) for the first fast spread of the Gospel, the printing press was God’s opportunity for the sreading of the Scriptures, the Internet today is God’s opportunity for taking the Church out from the enominational walls that hitherto have attempted to contain it. Through the internet, the CHURCH is now truly the Open Church for all people, wherever they are. To you be the tahnks, and to God be the Glory.

Hey guys I really appreciate this site. I just found it and intend to read a lot more. The content here is so inline with what God is leading me into. i) A personal walk with Him (Gen 15:1b) and ii) How should I live my life with regards to a) my personal conduct and b) my interaction with those around me. I have been asking the question: “If a bunch of unbelievers were stranded on an island and found a bible, read it and came to know God, what kind of society would evolve? Particularly what is church? How do we do church? What are the typical behavious and habits of a person who truely knows God? How much of what we do today is worldly bagage?” I certainly do not want to point fingers or be critical of others, it is just that I want to be real and live my life meaningfully and so much of what I see and have personally been involved in seems to be a distraction and hinderance of the Person of God.
God bless you guys.
Love Johann
Hi Johann,
Thanks for the comment. Yes, keep it simply. Keep it real. Jesus is both.
Also do not be afraid to walk by faith – not by sight. This is the only way to stay hungry and dependent. Neither conditions are loved by self, but treasured by Him
Blessings
Johan
